But why must the person who has a problem with the ex always be the freak? In a social climate of changing definitions of "relationship," being cool with a significant other's ex hanging around can be perilous. Suspicion and jealousy are never fun, no one wants to look overly posessive or paranoid, but sometimes those feelings are there for a reason. It's called instinct.
